Remote and beautiful

Great views

Hiking a 1.5 mile trail of mudstone and sandstone formations dating back as long ago as 55 million years. Very wild and beautifully isolated location. Enjoy it every time.

The coolest Badlands I've come across so far.

We were on our way from Rapid City to Cody and saw this little gem as we were driving. We're suckers for a scenic overlook and had to stop. So glad we did! It was such an interesting location. After having visited Badlands NP the day before, this felt like a compact version. I would have happily stayed longer if it wasn't cold and starting to rain.
